Open Hamclock Backend Project Status
Below is a list of Open Hamclock Backend Project updates. All releases and major changes are listed here so you can keep track of what is happening with the project. Come back to this page on a regular basis, especially if you are running your own version of OHB. If you have your HamClock directed to the OHB backend server (ohb.hamclock.app:80) you will get these updates with no action necessary.

- ESP8266-based device support with old endpoints
- offer ESP8266 software upgrades to v3.10
- status page shows data freshness on ohb.hamclock.app (see https://ohb.works/ohb-status/)

- moon supported in satellites for EME folks
- refresh of latest active satellites
- more frequent updates of drap map for smoother refreshes
- initial support for old ESP-based devices that can’t run 4.22

- WWFF was dropping spots without modes, now included
- DRAP map colors were a little aggressive, tuned in more accurately
- dxpeditions are hard since there’s no clean API, improved processing for better accuracy
- wx map rendering accuracy improved

- voacap map generates faster; address highest resolution then selecting 3x zoom could timeout
- pskr dropping spots when very long call prefix/suffix – HamClock crashes its processing of calls

- increase the rate at which Auora maps are refreshed
- change DRAP maximum based on extremes we saw today
- Aurora had slight artifact at equator which is resolved
- NASA’s SDO images and movies came back. We use suntoday as backups
- increase docker timeouts when installing for slow systems

- Kp was broken by NASA changing their json – adapted to new json
